Welcome to Colombia
Goodbye Ecuador
We left Otavalo early in the morning. The plan of the day was busy: bus, taxi, migration office and church. We took the first bus from Otavalo to the closest Ecuadorian city to the border Tulcan. After 4 hours, we needed a taxi to reach the immigration office.

After getting the stamp from the Ecuadorian side, we crossed a river (there was almost always a river between countries) and we got the Colombian one. Next, again a microbus to the Colombian nearest city Ipiales.
My last country

Now, I reached my last country in South America Colombia. Already more than 8 months passed and I started to feel that the end was coming. However, I didn’t have time to think. Only just arrived, we withdrew money, ate and went to the next visit: the Santuario de Las Lajas. We did the visit before our next night bus to Popayan.
