I discover Rosario on a short stay. I walk in the city for discovering the monuments and the river. On top of that, I tried my best time ever Alfajo, the Alfajo de Santafesino.
Alfajo de Santafesino
Those are the specific Alfajo in the region of Santa Fe. Called Alfajo de Santafesino, they are my preference. With not only one layer of Dulce de Leche but two. Add to that a surrounding layer of lemon sugar. Finally, you get an incredible Alfajo.
I tried the best one in the Confiteria Nuria in the center of the city.
Visit the city
An overview of the city trough my visit.
Monument of the flag
The Monumento de la Bandera (Flag Monument), the main and most impressive monument in Rosario. It was the first time and place where the Argentinian flag was run up.
Walk in the city
There are many monuments in the city. The smartphone application Rosario Turismo is very helpful. The application provides many tours for discovering the city. Not only the old city but also street arts or a tour about the Che. The Che was born in Rosario! However, the application is only in Spanish and you need internet for loading the Map. If you already loaded the map with WiFi, you can continue to watch it.
River
Rosario is along the same river that borders Buenos Aires. But more upstream. The place is nice and peaceful. During the hot summer, the river is great for refreshing.
Rosario has also a nice Tango scene. I didn’t enjoy it a lot as I haven’t the time but I heard about many events. This map is good for knowing what will happen next.
